The Mt. Zion Cemetery is located in the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of section 6, Island Grove township, Sangamon county Illinois.  It consists of a four-sided wall - roughly 13' x 6' - around a collection of broken stones, on the site of the original church, in the middle of a soybean field.  The coordinates are +39° 46' 17.30", -89° 54' 55.95".

Known to be buried there is Andrew Scott (21 Nov 1786 - 16 Sept 1859, aged 72 years, 9 months, 26 days) and wife Anna Longest Scott (18 Oct 1791 - 14 Sept 1853, aged 61 years, 10 months, 27 days)

• "1855.", "mo. 9 ds." (broken stone) (note - does not fit with above stone, though it seems like it should, this stone has two lines, the previous has three - "A(ged)" between them)
