In the 1840 census, Elizabeth's grandfather John Wilson Scott was living with them and enumerated as one of only two surviving Revolutionary War veterans (and pensioners) in Dewitt county. 10 children:

There's also another marriage listed for Lewis, to an Elizabeth McClure in 1870 in Illinois or Indiana.
