• John Hiram- b. 8 Sept 1855 Dewitt co. Ill.  d. 15 Nov 1856 Dewitt co. Ill., buried Rock Creek Cemetery.  Despite the fact that little John died at 14 months, and that his tombstone is quite readable, he is listed clearly as a 4-year-old in the 1860 census of Dewitt county.  I don't know why.

Riddle b. 1857/8 Ill.; they were divorced in 1890, 3 or 4 children.  Nancy m/2. 22 Jan 1896 William Mathis Despain  b. 15 Mar 1854/5 Illinois  d. 1920 Dewitt co. Ill., 3 or 4 children (Nancy said in the 1910 census that she had had 7 children and that 5 were living at the time; I only know of 3 from each marriage).
