Mo.  d. 4 Oct 1927 Jamesport, Daviess co. Mo.; 3 children who all died as young adults (could that be connected to their father's age?).  A. K. Scott moved to Coffey co. Kansas in 1855 (where his brother John B. Scott lived), then to Daviess co. Mo. a year later.  He was said to have become a doctor after a spate of bad health in about 1841.

• Nancy Elizabeth  b. 12 Jan 1848 (per death certificate, census ages imply a birthdate closer to 1845/6) Dewitt co. Ill.  d. 31 Aug 1924 Kansas City, Jackson co. Mo.; called a widow in the 1910 and 1920 censuses and on her death certificate; I cannot find him in the 1900 census, but she is living with her brother James K., says she is married, and was born in Jan 1847.  Their last child was born in 1890 in Daviess co. Mo.  m. 6 Oct 1867 Daviess co. Mo.  Francis Marion Terry b. 6 July 1844 Harrison co. Missouri  d. 16 Nov 1931 National Military Home, Leavenworth co. Kansas (broken hip), buried Leavenworth National Cemetery. Francis fought in the Civil War, Co. D, 1st Colorado Infantry, had enlisted 31 Oct 1861 at Denver, Colorado, and deserted on 16 May 1864, but under “cause of discharge”, his paperwork cites “end of war”.  12 children, at least 6 died young and were buried in Old Scotland Cemetery, Daviess co. Mo.; only 5 of their children were alive in 1900.

(stroke);  12 children.  Oliver fought in the Civil War; he enlisted in the Iowa 4th Light Artillery Battery on 21 Sep 1863 from Oskaloosa, Mahaska co. Iowa, and was mustered out on 14 Jul 1865 at Davenport, IA.
